Saudi food authority is evaluating more vaccines

JEDDAH: The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) said it is evaluating many coronavirus vaccines being developed by various companies.

“There are many vaccines that are being examined. The most secure and efficient one will be picked up, which will be announced to the public once approved,” the SFDA said on Twitter.

The SFDA said it will ensure vaccine safety, quality, and efficiency by evaluating files through six different administrations in test six stages: Preclinical studies, clinical studies, quality, pharmacovigilance, inspection and sample analysis in vitro.
