Alasmak says Jeddah building to be demolished

Saudi Fisheries Co. (Alasmak) said that it was notified by Jeddah Municipality to vacate the site and remove the administrative building located in Al Rawabi District in Jeddah, as of June 11, since it is within the scope of the slums that should be removed.

The land related to the site was previously issued by a Royal Decree to vacate the land for the company, provided that its value is within the state’s share in the company’s capital, Saudi Fisheries said in a bourse statement.

The company is still following the procedures for vacating and adhering to the Royal Order with the relevant authorities.

The financial impact cannot be determined at the present time, and any developments in this regard will be announced in due time, the statement added.
