Etihad Airways suspends all flights until March 2
United Arab
Emirates: Etihad Airways has announced that it will suspend all flights
until 2am on March 2 following the temporary closure of the airspace of the
United Arab Emirates (UAE) amid the ongoing Middle East conflict.
The aviation impact was immediate and severe. Emirates, Qatar Airways, Etihad
Airways, Turkish Airlines, Air India, and several other international carriers
experienced significant disruptions in their flight schedules.
Calling upon passengers with reservations to check the latest flight status,
Etihad Airways said the tickets for these flights can be changed free of charge
to flights operating up to March 15.
Passengers booked on canceled flights are being offered refunds free of charge,
said the airline.
Authorities in Abu Dhabi have revealed that eight people were killed or injured
by debris when a drone attack by Iran was intercepted at Zayed International
Airport.
