Dr. Saleh Al-Tayar, head of the Centre for French-Arab Studies in Paris

A decision was issued by the chamber’s council on Wednesday to renew his nomination with an overwhelming majority of 91 percent of members.

Al-Tayar is head of the Centre for French-Arab Studies in Paris, and has a distinguished biography in developmental, economic and legal affairs.

He is a legal adviser and lawyer in Saudi Arabia, Europe and the US. He is also a member of the Supreme Council of the Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz International Prize for Water, vice president of the chamber’s Centre for Arab Conciliation and Arbitration, and president of the International Justice Organization in Paris.
