Pakistani religious heads, govt officials praise Saudi role in Hajj mission's success

A number of Pakistani religious leaders, government officials and academics have lauded the success of this year's Hajj mission, citing that it has sent a clear message to the world, reflecting the real status of Saudi Arabia, the pioneering role it plays for Islam and Muslims, and its support to regional and international security and stability under its prudent leadership.

This came at a conference organized by the Global Council to Honor the Two Holy Mosques, held in the Pakistani capital under the theme "the Hajj Message". Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Al-Malki and Pakistan's Minister of Religious Affairs Mufti Shakoor were present at the conference.

The participants considered this year's Hajj as a message of peace and amity to the peoples of the world and a deserved success that reflects the great capabilities of the Kingdom and its leadership, the services they extend to Islam and Muslims as well as their care for the Two Holy Mosques, pilgrims, visitors and Umrah performers.

They praised the outstanding results of the Kingdom's initiatives in defense of the Arab and Islamic nation aiming to achieve stability in the region, and highlighting the bilateral relations binding the Kingdom with Pakistan and its people and its firm stance in support of Pakistan to help it overcome tough situations.
