Gulf Bank concludes traffic law awareness campaign with MoI

Kuwait: Gulf Bank has successfully concluded its awareness campaign on the new traffic law, launched in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior. The initiative is part of the Bank’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility and its dedication to promoting road safety awareness across society. The campaign featured a series of short educational videos recorded with Colonel Faisal Al-Daihani, Head of the Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Interior. These videos were shared across Gulf Bank’s social media platforms and aimed to simply explain the key updates and changes in the new traffic law.

The videos covered various important topics, including the importance of adhering to speed limits, the dangers of using mobile phones while driving, new violation monitoring systems, and penalties associated with major traffic offenses. Additionally, Gulf Bank held an internal awareness session for its employees in collaboration with the General Traffic Department at the Ministry of Interior.

The session was led by Major Mohammed Al-Rafee, Head of the Activities Section – Traffic Awareness Department, and Major Musaed Al-Aslawi, Head of the Awareness Section – Traffic Awareness Department. Together, they provided valuable insights into the updated traffic law, clarified recent changes, and answered employees’ questions.

Gulf Bank representatives expressed pride in collaborating with the Ministry of Interior on this important initiative, emphasizing the significance of supporting public awareness efforts, particularly in light of the recent updates to the traffic law. “We believe the private sector has a crucial role in supporting the Ministry’s efforts to reduce accidents and save lives,” stated a Gulf Bank official, while also commending the tireless work of traffic officers in achieving these goals.

This collaboration is part of a wider range of community initiatives that Gulf Bank undertakes annually as part of its sustainability strategy, which focuses on supporting national and social causes to contribute to building a safer and more informed society.
