Kuwait Airways announces first flight to Salalah
Kuwait:
Kuwait Airways announced Wednesday its first flight to Oman’s
Salalah, with three scheduled flights per week on Sunday, Tuesday and Friday. In
a press release, Kuwait’s national carrier explained that electing the city of
Salalah as a destination came after a meticulous study of the market and demand,
explaining that this is in line with the airline’s strategy of expanding network
and diversifying options.
Salalah is a destination with much to offer, including a moderate climate,
tourist attractions, natural landscapes, and historical sites. Kuwait Airways
was first established in 1953 as a private company and operated its first flight
in March of 1954. The Kuwaiti government gained full ownership in 1962.
